Hello!

 Hiya! 

This is my first post on this blog! I'm super excited to get this blog up and running. I love the world of fashion, music and TV. My plan is to post my thoughts on trends and my favorites of the week! Feel free to comment your own favorites. :) I can't wait to read everybody else's blogs! I also have my favorite song right now at the top of my page! Give it a listen and let me know what you think. 

Here are some of my favorite things in fashion right now that are trending: 

I love Tabi shoes! I know this is a controversial topic in the fashion world because people can't decide whether it's cute. Let me tell you I love them so much! Tabi's were initially made by Martin Margielaa. When these shoes first hit the market, they were very high-end and worn by people who didn't mind spending a pretty penny on a pair of shoes over $1,000. Now, many brands have made their own spin off of this shoe style. These shoes can be dressed up or down, making them very versatile. 

Ok, these shoes are very near and dear to my heart! These are the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66.  I have the yellow pair, and they are my favorite shoes of all time! I think these shoes have been slowly growing in popularity over the past couple of years. I got my pair in 2022, and now I see these shoes EVERYWHERE! I think they are such a great basic shoe that adds so much personality. One thing I love about these shoes is the way they elevate an outfit. I really hope that these shoes DO NOT become the new Sambas!! I loved my Sambas when I first got them, but now I see them so often that they are not unique anymore. 

Layering is something that I am horrible at, but I LOVE to see! Take this picture to the right of this. The way she is wearing so many colors and they all work together is so awesome. Layering is such an amazing skill to have if you are trying to elevate your style. I'm still learning how to layer, and let me say, it's one of the hardest fashion tips to master. A lot of the time, I feel stupid for wearing so many layers, but I have to remember that this is the time to try new things and different styles. 

Here are some of my favorite music artists! Would love some recommendations! 

- My music taste is kind of all over the place, so I'm going to go through a bunch of different genres. 

My top artist of all time is Ms. Lizzy Mcalpine. I love this woman and all of her music. I think she is able to capture exactly how I feel! She blew up for one of her songs which you might have heard called Ceilings off of her album Five Seconds Flat I will say its not my favorite album because I know she made it in hopes of having a radio hit, so her music off that album is very pop and not much like her original style. She came out with her most recent album, Older. This album was stunning; it is such a raw and real piece of art. She dives into such deep themes and topics of her life that are so relatable. I also love this woman and all the art she does, and I'm so excited about her new music.
